Walking Trail - Rocha da Relva

Walking Trail - Rocha da Relva is a fascinating walking trail on the southwest coast of the island of São Miguel in the Azores. This 5.5 kilometer trail (PRC20 SMI) takes you through picturesque villages, summer basalt houses, wine cellars, orchards and vineyards.

During the 3-hour hike, you'll see spectacular views of the coast and volcanic landscapes, as well as a shrine in honor of Nossa Senhora dos Anjos. The route is challenging due to steep descents and uneven terrain, but you will be rewarded with incredible views and the opportunity to observe local flora and fauna.
