Tierpark Görlitz is a unique place for animal and nature lovers. On 5 hectares you can meet 500 animals from 100 different species.
The biggest attraction is Europe's only Tibetan village with authentically rebuilt houses and traditional animals. Many of the enclosures are designed to allow close encounters with goats, deer or kangaroos.
For children, there are educational playgrounds, including the UNESCO award-winning 'Milk Road,' teaching about globalization and sustainability. The 'Food Box' bistro offers regional products that can be enjoyed on the terrace with panoramic views of the zoo.
