Description
The Montezuma Castle Visitor Center is the gateway to the fascinating world of the ancient Sinagua Indians. Here you will see an impressive five-story rock dwelling built more than 800 years ago, located 90 feet above the ground on a steep limestone cliff.
The center offers exhibits showcasing artifacts such as agricultural tools, hunting weapons, pottery and jewelry that provide a glimpse into the daily lives of the ancient inhabitants.
The picturesque setting along Beaver Creek, with its shade of sycamores and poplar trees, creates the perfect place to relax for a while as you explore this remarkable part of America's cultural heritage.
