Inspiration Point

Inspiration Point is a scenic hiking trail offering some of the most beautiful views in Santa Barbara. This 3.4-mile trail of moderate difficulty leads to a vantage point with breathtaking panoramic views of the coast, Pacific Ocean and Channel Islands.

The hike involves almost 300 meters of elevation gain, which usually takes 2-3 hours. The trail is pet-friendly - you can bring your pet on a leash.

It is best to go there on a clear day to fully appreciate the spectacular views. For more experienced hikers, the trail connects to other trails in Los Padres National Forest.
