Thatcher Woods is a 245-acre park located along the Des Plaines River, just 10 miles west of downtown Chicago. This green paradise offers a variety of activities for nature lovers.

The park is famous for its miles of unpaved trails, ideal for hiking, bird watching and nature photography. Oak woodlands and floodplains create a picturesque landscape.
