Description
Cranbrook House & Gardens is the oldest surviving mansion in the Detroit metropolitan area. Designed by renowned architect Albert Kahn, this 40-acre garden complex featuring a historic English-Tudor style mansion delights art and nature lovers.
The estate is a testament to the Arts and Crafts movement in America and features enchanting gardens with fountains, sculptures, lakes and streams. As part of the Cranbrook Educational Community, the site combines history, art and education.
