Pu'u O Kaimukī Park

Pu'u O Kaimukī Park is a unique place in the heart of Honolulu, also known as 'Christmas Tree Park'. A distinctive feature of the park is a metal sculpture of a 'Christmas tree' that lights up with Christmas lights every year on the first Thursday of December, becoming a local attraction.

The park offers a breathtaking panoramic view of Diamond Head, the skyscrapers of Waikiki and the Manoa and Palolo valleys. It's the perfect spot for a sunset!

Historically, the park served as a reservoir in the 1900s and as a military bunker during World War II. Today, it offers a playground, basketball courts and green spaces perfect for a picnic.
