Park stanowy Matthiessen

The Matthiessen State Park is a true paradise for lovers of nature and active recreation. Stunning rock formations, deep canyons and as many as seven picturesque waterfalls (including one 14 meters high) create a unique landscape of this place.

Well-marked hiking trails with a total length of 8 kilometers allow for leisurely strolls or more challenging hikes. Spring is the ideal time to visit, when the waterfalls are most active after rains.

The rich vegetation and diverse fauna mean that there is something for every nature lover. In winter, the park also offers cross-country ski trails.
