Description

Trail End State Historic Site is a magnificent Flemish-style mansion built in 1908 for cattle rancher and politician John Kendrick. This impressive monument provides a glimpse into the life of a wealthy family in the early 20th century.

As you stroll through the professionally designed gardens (the first of their kind in Wyoming!), you can admire hundreds of native trees and shrubs. The mansion's interiors are stunning with original furniture and artifacts that tell the story of life between 1913 and 1933.

It's a fascinating journey through World War I, the Jazz Age and the Great Depression, seen through the eyes of the influential Kendrick family.
