Ford Center for the Performing Arts Oriental Theatre is a historic theater in the heart of Chicago that impresses with its oriental architecture inspired by the Far East.
Opened in 1926 as a luxury movie palace and vaudeville performance venue, it was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1978. After an extensive renovation between 1996 and 1998, the theater reopened its doors, offering spectacular Broadway productions.
