Description
The Great Auditorium is a historic structure built in 1894 by shipbuilders. Resembling an inverted Noah's Ark, this architectural gem impresses with its arched wooden ceiling and spectacular acoustics.
The hall seats up to 6,250 people and is famous for its 115-year-old Hope-Jones organ, which resounds twice a week in the summer.
It's a venue teeming with cultural life, with concerts, classical and sacred music recitals and an annual Choir Festival, bringing together hundreds of singers and instrumentalists.
