The Whitney

The Whitney is an elegant restaurant housed in a historic 1894 mansion built by timber baron David Whitney Jr. This example of neo-Romanesque architecture impresses with its Tiffany & Co. stained glass windows and exquisite interiors, which were transformed into a luxury restaurant after a 1986 renovation.

Each room has retained its original purpose and unique decor, and the Winter Garden cocktail bar is located on the third floor. Additional attractions include tales of paranormal phenomena - the ghosts of former residents and patients are said to still walk the halls.
