Sol de Mexico is a family-owned restaurant serving authentic Mexican cuisine in the heart of Chicago.

The place is famous for its unique mole sauces in three varieties - red, brown and green, prepared by a true 'mole goddess', Clementina Flores.

The flagship dish is 'borrego en mole negro' - New Zealand lamb loin with classic mole sauce from Oaxaca, served with mashed potatoes, jack cheese and green beans.
