The Carousel Building

The Carousel Building is a historic landmark in Asbury Park, part of the larger Casino Building complex. Designed by the architects of Grand Central Terminal, this imposing Beaux-Arts style building impresses with a 5000-foot rotunda with a copper dome.

It now houses the Wooden Walls Project, an arts initiative that has breathed new life into the historic building.

It once housed one of the most magnificent carousels, with hand-carved horses and chariots that danced to the rhythm of music from a Wurlitzer organ.
