Description
Duff Green Mansion is a historic boarding house in Vicksburg, combining elegance with a mysterious past. Built in 1856, it served as a luxury home, a hospital during the Civil War, a home for convalescents, an orphanage for boys and the headquarters of the Salvation Army.
Each of the nine beautifully decorated rooms has its own character and antique furniture. Guests can enjoy a three-course breakfast and evening wine and cheese receptions.
The Mansion is famous for paranormal phenomena - it is said to be haunted by ghosts, including a Confederate soldier and six-year-old Annie Green. It's the perfect place for lovers of history, luxury and mystery.
