Abick's Bar

Abick's Bar is one of the oldest family-owned bars in Detroit, operating continuously since 1907. It has remained in the hands of the Abick family for six generations, maintaining its unique character and history.

The establishment impresses with its original tin ceiling and marble, wood and brass cash register dating back to the Prohibition era in 1911. Bottles from that period have been discovered in the walls, suggesting that the bar operated as a speakeasy.
