Groff Park

Groff Park is a 14-acre public park in Amherst, donated to the town in 1934 by Ulysses Groff. It offers plenty of attractions for the whole family, which were upgraded in 2020.

A modern playground with swings and a sandbox, a water park that operates in the warmer months, and three sports fields are just some of the amenities available. Nature lovers will appreciate the walks along the Emily Dickinson Trail and the opportunity to relax by the shallow Fort River.

The park also features picnic pavilions with barbecue areas, ideal for family gatherings and outdoor events.
