Spomenik Francetu Prešernu

Spomenik Francetu Prešernu is an impressive monument dedicated to Slovenia's national poet. Made of bronze, the sculpture depicts Prešern looking towards the window where his beloved Julija Primic lived.

Above the poet is a Muse holding a laurel branch - a symbol of poetry and creativity. The pedestal is decorated with two bronze reliefs depicting scenes from the poet's poems.
