Description

Community of the Sisters of the Love of God is an Anglican order of contemplative sisters founded in 1906.

Rooted in Carmelite spirituality, the order offers a unique space of silence and prayer. The nuns operate a small publishing house, SLG Press, which publishes the 'Fairacres Chronicle' magazine and more than 200 books on prayer and spiritual life.

It's a particularly valuable place for those seeking deeper spiritual experiences and those interested in a contemplative lifestyle. The community believes that prayer is essential for the peace and well-being of the world.

avatarerixuka year agoA retreat here is always a magical experience. Love and peace prevail and the accommodation is comfortable, and a welcome is guaranteed. The Convent now looks better than ever after much building work and the very large garden is very restful. I always leave with regret and look forward to my next stay.
