Pico De Bandama

Pico De Bandama is a unique vantage point in Gran Canaria, offering breathtaking 360-degree panoramas. From this peak you can see the northeastern part of the island, Las Palmas and the Atlantic Ocean, and on clear days even the neighboring island of Fuerteventura.

The site is part of the Bandama Natural Monument, which was created by a volcanic eruption some 5,000 years ago. With a diameter of more than 1 km and a depth of 200 meters, the caldera is a paradise for geology and botany enthusiasts.

Surrounding hiking trails lead through a variety of natural landscapes, where endemic plant and animal species can be found, including Gran Canaria lizards and various bird species.
