Las Ventanas de Güimar

Las Ventanas de Güimar is a spectacular hiking trail in Tenerife, offering an unforgettable experience for hikers.

The trail leads through tunnels carved into the rock that originally served as water channels. Numerous 'windows' in the walls of the tunnels provide stunning views of the valley below, which has given the trail its name 'Thousand Windows of Güimar'.

The hike requires good fitness and proper preparation - a head flashlight is essential for exploring the dark tunnels. The entire route is about 19-20 km, and takes about 4.5 hours to walk.
