Description
Drago de Agalán is the oldest dragon tree on the island of La Gomera, a true living natural treasure.
Often referred to as a 'living fossil' due to its longevity, this majestic specimen of Dracaena draco is located in a picturesque valley dotted with palm trees, just 2 kilometers north of Alajeró.
The surrounding area is part of the Garajonay National Park, a UNESCO-listed area famous for its dense primary laurel forest. Marked stone paths lead directly to this natural wonder, offering breathtaking views along the way.
