Description
Yacimiento Arqueológico de Zonzamás is one of the most important archaeological sites in the Canary Islands, uncovering the secrets of Lanzarote's first settlers.
This fascinating complex contains the remains of five underground buildings surrounded by a stone wall, where valuable artifacts of the Majos culture - rituals, pottery, hunting knives and animal bones - have been found.
Located in a picturesque valley between the Caldera de Zonzamás and Montaña de Maneje, it offers not only a trip back in time, but also beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. Small groups of visitors can learn about the history of this unique site on intimate guided tours.
