Casa Jimenez de Franchy

Casa Jimenez de Franchy is an impressive 17th century mansion that is one of the most monumental historic buildings in the Canary Islands.

It is distinguished by a beautiful balcony made of traditional Canarian pine wood, decorated with motifs of four large vultures. The interior impresses with coffered ceilings and a distinctive courtyard with stone pinnacles.

Today, the residence serves as a center for the interpretation and promotion of 'ephemeral art,' including the traditional flower and mineral carpets of La Orotava, created during the Octave of Corpus Christi.
