Description
Casa Tey is a historic gem in the heart of Santa Cruz de La Palma that takes guests back in time to the 18th century. Built between 1718 and 1723 by London-based doctor Francisco Tey, it impresses with its stone facade, inner courtyard and wooden ceiling decorated with blue and white Dutch tiles.
At this unique café you will taste local products - jams, liqueurs and pastries, as well as teas and coffees from around the world. The menu includes traditional Spanish tapas, including montaditos - sandwiches that date back to the 15th/16th century.
The place regularly hosts exhibitions of historic photographs and culinary experiments with traditional recipes from the 19th century.
