Büyük Hamam

Büyük Hamam is a historic Ottoman-era building that was originally a 14th century church that was converted into a bathhouse in 1571. This unique monument combines elements of Ottoman and Latin architecture to offer a traditional Turkish bathhouse experience.

The bathhouse consists of three parts: a changing room (soyunmalık), a warm room (ılıklık) and a hot room (sıcaklık). In the central part is a massage platform, above which light streams in through glass openings in the dome.

Renovated in 2007-2008, Büyük Hamam has retained its original character, allowing guests to immerse themselves in the authentic atmosphere of a historic meeting and relaxation place.
