Babji zob, Jelovica

Babji zob, Jelovica is a fascinating rock formation rising at the northwestern end of the Jelovica plateau in Slovenia. This 300-meter-high rock, also known as the 'Witch's Tooth,' conceals an impressive cave system about 300 meters long underneath.

The interior of the cave is stunning with beautiful flowstone, calcite crystals and rare helictites - spiral stalactites. According to local legend, the formation was created by an old witch, which adds a mysterious charm to the place.

The cave was probably created during the Ice Age and has been attracting nature, geology and adventure lovers for the past 200 years.
