Description
The Bled Castle Museum is a fascinating journey through the history of one of Slovenia's oldest castles, dating back to 1004.
The permanent exhibition, occupying 14 chambers of former living quarters, presents the history of Bled from geological formations to modern times. Visitors can admire original artifacts, replicas and models of the castle and surrounding area.
Unusual attractions include a 16th century Gothic chapel with Baroque paintings, a room dedicated to Swiss naturopath Arnold Rikla, and a replica of Gutenberg's printing press, where visitors can learn the secrets of ancient printing.
