Description
Civil Defense Heritage Gallery is a unique museum located in Singapore's oldest surviving fire station, built in 1908. The exhibit showcases the rich history of civil defense from the late 1800s to the present day.
Visitors can admire antique fire engines, including a horse-drawn steam engine, and enjoy interactive exhibits that simulate emergency situations. Of particular interest is a replica of the 1961 Bukit Ho Swee fire, a reminder of the importance of fire protection.
Historical artifacts and multimedia exhibits telling the story of Singapore's journey to build community resilience and safety are worth seeing.
