Description

Kalemegdan is the largest and most important historical monument in Belgrade, located within the Belgrade Fortress.

This picturesque park offers breathtaking views of the junction of the Sava and Danube rivers. Strolling through the alleys, you will discover a wealth of history dating back to Roman times, numerous sculptures and monuments, including the Monument of Gratitude to France.

The park includes the Military Museum, the Cvijet Zuzorić Art Pavilion, as well as a zoo and a children's amusement park with the famous 1964 Ferris wheel. Unique Romanesque and Serbian-Byzantine style staircases add to the unique character of the place.
