Park Krajobrazowy Goričko

The Goričko Landscape Park is a unique protected area at the meeting point of three countries: Slovenia, Austria and Hungary.

It is a picturesque mosaic of scattered farms on low hills, interspersed with meadows, fields, orchards and vineyards. The park is famous for its rich biodiversity - it protects 44 valuable natural elements, including unique trees, bodies of water and habitats for rare species.

Outdoor enthusiasts will appreciate the numerous hiking and biking trails, while history enthusiasts will appreciate the largest castle in Slovenia, located on a rock made of volcanic ash.
