Monastery's Church

Monastery's Church is a Gothic church that is part of the medieval Dominican complex in Sighișoara.

Built in 1289, it impresses with its rich history and unique architectural elements. Inside you can admire frescoes, altars from the 17th century and the famous Last Supper scene painted by Jeremiah Stranovius, where the figures were modeled after members of the city council at the time.

The church also hides a Gothic baptismal font from the 15th century, beautifully carved linden wood stalls and a tabernacle from around 1500. It is an ideal place for lovers of history and sacred art.
