Sanctuary of Monte Lussari

The Monte Lussari Sanctuary is a magical place where history meets spirituality and natural beauty. Located in the Julian Alps, it offers breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and valleys.

The origins of the shrine date back to 1360, when a shepherd found a statue of the Virgin and Child under a bush. The site became a pilgrimage point for three neighboring language groups: Germanic, Romanesque and Slavic.
