Description
Refuge of Lac Blanc is a unique mountain refuge located in the heart of the Aiguilles Rouges Nature Reserve, offering breathtaking views of the Chamonix Valley and the Mont Blanc massif.
It is an ideal place for trekkers and nature lovers, and is an important stop on the Tour du Mont Blanc. The chalet can accommodate up to 40 people in dormitories, and serves traditional Savoyard cuisine made from local ingredients.
The place stands out for its eco-friendly approach - energy comes from a hydroelectric power plant, and waste is carefully segregated. Wildlife, including marmots and chamois, can be viewed from the terrace.
