Rampestreken

Rampestreken is a spectacular viewpoint located 537 meters above sea level in Åndalsnes. The 20-meter steel platform suspended in the air offers breathtaking panoramic views of the Romsdalen Valley and surrounding fjords.

The scenic Romsdalstrappa trail, built by Nepalese Sherpas, leads to the viewpoint. For less skilled hikers, the Romsdalen gondola railroad is available, which takes you to the top of Nesaksla, from where you can descend to the platform.

After a brisk walk, visit the Eggen restaurant serving local delicacies overlooking the mountains.
