Description
Stegastein viewpoint is an architectural marvel suspended 650 meters above Aurlandsfjord. This 30-meter-high platform made of steel, concrete, glass and pine wood creates the illusion of floating above the abyss.
Designed by Todd Saunders and Tommie Wilhelmsen in 2006, it offers breathtaking views of the fjord, the village of Aurland and the surrounding mountains.
The platform is fully accessible for wheelchairs and children, and there are modern restrooms and information points in multiple languages.
