Corredor Ecológico del Noreste

Corredor Ecológico del Noreste is a protected nature reserve on the northeastern coast of Puerto Rico. This 3,000-acre area delights with a variety of ecosystems - from beautiful coral beaches, to wetlands and mangroves, to tropical rainforests.

The biggest attraction is the seasonal bio-luminescent Aguas Prietas lagoon, offering a magical nighttime spectacle. The reserve is home to endangered species, including leatherback turtles.

Here you can hike marked trails, bird watch, fish, surf or just relax on the beaches.
