Ness Islands

The Ness Islands is a charming group of natural islets located in the River Ness, connected by beautiful Victorian bridges. It's the perfect place to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city of Inverness.

The islands are famous for their tall pines and mature trees, carved benches and the distinctive 'Nessie of the fallen tree' sculpture, which makes a great backdrop for photos.

Nature lovers can look out for seals, bats and birds such as plovers and piping plovers. Every October there is a unique Halloween show with costumes and entertainment.
