Description
Lennépark in Frankfurt/Oder is a historic park designed by famous landscape architect Peter Joseph Lenné between 1834 and 1845 on the site of the former city walls.
Stretching about a kilometer long, the park impresses with its diversity - more than 50 species of trees, picturesque height differences (as much as 35 meters) and charming water features: an artificial waterfall, stream, fountain and ponds.
At the northern end of the park is the Schöpferdenkmal - a monument commemorating the designer and Frankfurt residents who contributed to the creation of this green corner.
