Description
המצפ-תל is a unique botanical garden in Jerusalem that delights with a wealth of more than 6,000 plant species from around the world. The 30-acre site is divided geographically into sections representing different regions, including South Africa, Europe, North America and Asia.
The garden has a fascinating history dating back to the 1920s, when botanist Alexander Eig drew up plans for Israel's first National Botanical Garden. A special attraction is the tropical conservatory added in 1986.
It's the perfect place for nature lovers, researchers and families looking for peace and quiet among the lush vegetation.
