Bica da Cana pinnacle

Bica da Cana pinnacle is a scenic hiking trail on the Portuguese island of Madeira. This 4.5-kilometer loop offers breathtaking views of the São Vicente Valley and the island's highest peaks, Pico Ruivo and Pico do Arieiro.

The route is relatively easy, with only 150 meters of elevation gain, although some sections can be slippery and rocky. The hike takes you through dense thickets and forest, where you can view a variety of flora and fauna, including wildflowers, butterflies and lizards.

The best time to visit is early morning, when the rising sun creates a mystical atmosphere with clouds rolling over the mountains.
