Quinta Da Jardinete

Quinta Da Jardinete is a charming winery located on the island of São Miguel in the Azores. A former farm converted into the largest vineyard on the island, it covers 12 acres and produces a variety of wines including Pinot Grigio, Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.

Between 16,000 and 18,000 bottles of wine are produced here annually. In addition to vines, bananas, onions and potatoes are grown, which help fertilize the soil and fertilize the vines.

An old chapel converted into a tasting room adds to the historic charm of the place. During a guided tour, you'll learn about the history of the vineyard and the evolution of the fruit grown here.
