Vista do Rei - Sete Cidades - São Miguel PR03 SMI is one of the most beautiful hiking trails in the Azores, offering royal views of the Sete Cidades crater lakes.

This easy 7.7-kilometer route traverses the southwestern slopes of the volcanic hills, providing breathtaking panoramas of the green and blue lakes and volcanic formations.

Particularly worth the descent is Lomba do Vasco, which offers views of the west coast and the village of Mosteiros. The trail ends at the Church of São Nicolau in the charming village of Sete Cidades, where you can admire the lake shore revitalization project.
