Santa Barbara Garden

The Santa Barbara Garden is a charming corner in the heart of Braga, located next to the historic Archbishop's Palace. Designed in 1955 in the romantic Estado Novo style, it delights with geometric patterns of boxwood and cedar topiary.

The centerpiece of the garden is a 17th-century fountain with a statue of Saint Barbara. Walking along alleys lined with traditional Portuguese pavers, one can admire medieval architectural elements - old statues, cornices and coats of arms from the palace.

This is the perfect place for nature, history and photography lovers, where colorful plants bloom all year round, creating a fabulous setting.
