Conjunto Megalítico de Barreira

Conjunto Megalítico de Barreira is a fascinating megalithic complex located on a forested hill near the village of Odrinhas, Portugal.

This unique monument consists of about twenty menhirs and other monoliths ranging from 1 to 4 meters in height, dating back to the Neolithic period. Some of the stones have mysterious round recesses resembling eyes, which adds to the mystical character of the site.
