Gorreana Tea Factory

Gorreana Tea Factory is the oldest operating tea factory in Europe, established in 1883. The place impresses with traditional British machinery from the 19th century, which is still used to produce 100% organic tea.

It's a family-run business that offers the opportunity to learn about the entire production process and taste different types of black and green tea, including Moinha, Broken Leaf, Orange Pekoe and Hysson.

The scenic tea plantations surrounding the factory can be explored using two hiking trails (PRC28 SMI and TM05), an added attraction for nature lovers.
