Description
The Dominican Fathers' Monastery in Lublin is a unique monument dating back to the 14th century, offering a fascinating journey through time.
The interior of the basilica impresses with 11 chapels founded by Polish noble families during the Counter-Reformation, which served as burial chapels.
The first chapel, built for the Firlej family in 1615-1622, and the Ossolinsky family chapel are true architectural gems.
The main altar in classicist style from 1794 and six paintings thematically related to the Dominicans complete the artistic character of the place.
