Sanktuarium Matki Bożej Skałkowej

The Shrine of Our Lady of the Rock is a unique spiritual place whose history dates back to 1818, when an image of Our Lady appeared on a limestone rock. This remarkable event transformed the area into an important pilgrimage destination.

The current chapel, designed by architect Mark Tonder, harmoniously combines modern style with natural surroundings. A stone arch with a gate adorns the entrance, and the grounds include a bell tower and five Stations of the Cross.

Inside the chapel you can admire a historic cross from the 1950s, made in a cement factory. The site offers tranquility and space for prayer in the picturesque landscape of the Krakow-Czestochowa Jurassic Highlands.
