Description
The Imielty Lug Nature Reserve is a unique natural area located in the western part of the Janów Forest, covering more than 800 hectares.
It is a true paradise for nature lovers and bird watchers - more than 100 species of birds have been found here, including rare specimens such as the black stork and the white-tailed eagle.
The reserve impresses with the diversity of ecosystems - from high and transitional bogs to lakes and forests. Particularly interesting is the dune cutting into the spear-shaped peat bog and the partially overgrown lake in the central part.
Visitors can enjoy the educational path 'Imielty Ług' and an observation tower offering a panoramic view of the surrounding wetlands and forests.
