Description
The ruins of Ojcow Castle are a fascinating monument dating back to the 14th century, built by Casimir the Great as part of a defense system against the Kingdom of Bohemia.
The castle, set into steep limestone cliffs, offers breathtaking views of the Prądnik Valley and Chelmowa Mountain.
It is part of the famous Eagles' Nests Trail and has an exhibition dedicated to its history, with a model showing the castle from the 15th-16th centuries. An ideal place for history, nature and photography lovers.
